The Query Editor view can be hidden or removed from the perspective you are working in, if you want to map your data using only a visual user-interface. 


The Query Editor view provides a realtime SQL editor synchronized in realtime with the DataObject Results view, DataObject Designer view, and the Defined Parameters view. When you update the SQL in the editor, the DataObject Designer will attempt to parse and visualize your query. Conversely, if you use the DataObject Designer to define table joins and to filter results, matching SQL will be generated and displayed in the Query Editor view as changes are made.  As the SQL changes, the DataObject Results view reflects the modified query.
