Allignment

The Alignment pane allows you to align cells left, right and center as well as indent, outdent, merge cells, and show as a plain view.

ALIGN LEFT
Use this function to align data with the left border of the cell.

ALIGN CENTER
Use this function to align data with the center of the cell.

ALIGN RIGHT
Use this function to align data with the right border of the cell.

ALIGN VERTICAL TOP
Use this function to align data with the top of the cell.

ALIGN VERTICAL CENTER
Use this function to align data with the center of the cell.

ALIGN VERTICAL BOTTOM
Use this function to align data with the bottom of the cell.

OUTDENT CELLS
Use this function to create space between the right margin and the data.

INDENT CELLS
Use this function to create space between the left margin and the data.

MERGE CELLS
To merge cells, select the cells to merge. Click on the Merge Cells button, shown as the letter "a" located between two arrows.
After the cells merge, a green banner will appear at the bottom of your screen stating the merged cell.

SHOW PLAIN VIEW
When the plain view icon of an orange table is selected, the sheet headers become white space.

When the plain view icon of a blank paper is selected, the grid lines disappear.
