Pie Chart

Description

The pie chart shows how individual parts relate to the whole. Unlike most chart types, only one series of data is used -- meaning you should not select more than one column or row of data when creating a pie chart.

When using more than eight categories or slices that comprise less than 5% of the whole, it may be difficult to clearly distinguish the segments.

When creating a pie chart, do not include negative values.

For a pie chart variation, try the doughnut chart.
